Topology
InterGate Inspect sits at the edge of your network monitoring all incoming and outgoing traffic. It examines all web traffic, and compares the web address, or url, with its database of over 13 million web sites belonging to 40 categories to see if there is a match. If the web address is part of a category that you have chosen to exclude, InterGate Inspect will block access to the page or the entire web site, as the case may be.

In bridging mode, all network traffic must pass through Vicomsoft Policy Manager, as there is no physical access to the Internet otherwist. This means that you have total control over web traffic flowing over your network. InterGate Inspect topology
